This is a fantastic example of a phishing attack. They are trying to get access to my account and the link looks legitimate. One thing to always remember is to hover your mouse over the link. In the lower corner of your browser it will show you where the link actually goes…in this case that ‘legitimate link’ goes to http://www.samanpetrol.com/yahoo/yahoo/index.html and that is definitely not a yahoo link. I’m sure that if you clicked on it you would get something nasty added to your computer.
Even if you get something in your email you think is legitimate, NEVER click on the link, go directly to the site the same way you always would. If the message was legitimate there will be a notice on your account when you access it normally. Be careful that you don’t get phished.
